Chairman MK Indonesia Kazakhstan hopes the model of democracy can be applied in his country.
Government of Kazakhstan admire the democratic system in Indonesia and will study it and implement them in their country. Democracy in Indonesia, considered one of the largest growth in Southeast Asia.
This statement was made Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Kazakhstan, Ivanivich Igor Rogov, Chairman of the Constitutional Court when it met with Indonesia Mahfud MD, in Jakarta, Sunday, July 10, 2011. Ivanivich said his return this time to exchange experiences on democratic life.
"Our arrival in order to discuss democracy which hopefully can be applied to our society," he said.
Indonesia, according to Igor is a country that managed to harmonize economic growth with democracy. This, he said, to be applied in his country. "We look forward to input to advance democracy in both countries and can be applied to our community," said Igor.
On the occasion, Igor explains the system of government in his country. He said the Kazakhstan president only has a term of three years only. Currently, the country was conceived legislation to limit the tenure of president for two terms only.
"The power of the president is limited by the Parliament and prime minister," said Igor.
MK Kazakhstan, Igor clear, the law regulates the formation of the country. Igor added that the Constitutional Court Act Kazakhstan on duty to check whether the clash with national interests or not. "When in conflict, then we can menganulirnya," said Igor
