Osama shot dead, It says George W Bush
United States President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden had been killed at the hands of joint operations in Pakistan. Obama also delivered good news for Americans is the former U.S. President, George W Bush.
"This afternoon, President Obama called me to inform you that U.S. troops have killed Osama bin Laden, leader of al-Qaeda network that attacked the U.S. on September 11, 2001," Bush said in a statement.
Bush is a man who had always been chasing Osama bin Laden after the collapse of the WTC in New York. Since the attacks, Bush announced that the U.S. conduct of war against terror.
The first country attacked the U.S. in efforts to combat terror is Afghanistan. Taliban government in Afghanistan suspected of supporting al-Qaeda movement. Knowing Osama has been killed, Bush expressed his joy.
"I gave him [Obama] safely and also to members of our military and intelligence who has devoted his entire life in this mission," he said.
"They deserve our greatest respect. The moment this achievement marks the American victory, the victory of all the people who wanted peace in the entire world, and the victory of those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001." he continued.
Bush said that the U.S. struggle to eradicate terrorism is far from finished. He said that this struggle will continue until all terror can be wiped out.
"However, tonight America has sent a message that can not be denied again: No matter how long it will take time, justice will still be upheld," said Bush.
